I received a pretty outstanding education at SOU in the Criminology/Political Science Departments. I went to law school with kids from the University of Washington, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Brigham Young University, UCLA, etc. And those students weren’t as prepared as I was.

Nick’s Story:
Nick was raised in southeastern Oregon but he will always be grateful for the time he spent in the southwest part of the state. After he graduated from SOU, Nick spent three years working for the U.S. Forest Service on a Hotshot Crew. During that time, he traveled the western U.S., Alaska and British Columbia fighting wildfires. In 2010, Nick graduated with honors from the Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, WA, finishing 3rd in his class.

He worked for a law firm in Missoula, MT, before starting his current job with Ebeltoft Sickler in Dickinson, ND. He works as part of the firm’s Litigation Solutions group, that focuses on insurance defense, transportation and construction industry litigation. His wife Bekki, is also an attorney with the same firm. The great Northwest has been good to Nick and his career advancements and all of that started at SOU. Nick is also a member of the SOU Alumni Association.
