A of Greater Seattle as a Youth Employment Specialist, a Membership and Marketing Director and lastly the Values Development Director. She and her husband Dan ‘90 then moved to Salem where she worked for Marion County. There, she took on the roles of Community Liaison and Volunteer Director. Besides being involved with the Alumni Association, Cathy also volunteers as the Member Services Committee Chair for OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) at SOU.

“SOU has a very special place in my family’s hearts.  Both of my parents, my aunt and uncle, my sister, husband and now youngest child have attended and graduated from SOU.  As a Resident Assistant and Hall Director, I met some amazing people whom I still keep in touch with.  Now, it’s fun to be in Ashland to enjoy aspects of this community that I couldn’t as a poor college student… although hiking is always free!”
